Maybe THE best Mother's Day gift? This design came to me when talking about flower jewelry ideas with my florist sister-in-law. First I made earrings, and quickly made a pendant, which I figured it easier to wear. This handmade pendant is made out of heavy gage wire, either solid sterling silver or 14k goldfilled wire (much better than gold plate, not quite solid gold). I solder the coil closed at the top and bottom, which ensures they keep they keep their shape and don't get tangled. They also look handsome when empty! They hang on sterling silver or 14k gold-filled chains. Perfect place to store the little wild flowers you find on your walks, or that your kids hand you!
