For this lovely pendant, I used a hand that I drew and cut out of a vintage sterling silver chain. I set a 4mm opal in a bezel in the palm and hammered little lines all around. It hangs on an 18" sterling silver chain. The Hamsa is a symbol that means a lot to me, as my mom's family is Sephardic (Mediterranean Jews). It represents many things in different cultures, but basically it stands for the hand of God, and wards away evil.
