Beaded Opal Ring in 14k Gold and Sterling Silver

This is my new favorite creation. I made a sterling silver bezel for a beautiful 10x8mm australian opal doublet, but the back side is also opal, making it more. It has a beautiful blue gray look, and when the light hits, a rainbow explodes out of it. I melted little bits of gold pieces from my workbench, both yellow and pink, to make the organic beaded border. To top it all off, the shank is upcycled from a vintage ring that had the stone removed. Totally one of a kind.
